Our Services

Three services, each carried out with the same unhurried attention

Mechanical servicing for everyday wearers, refinishing for surface wear, and a staged restoration program for older and sentimental pieces.

Methodology

How every service begins

Before we quote a price or pick up a tool, the watch goes onto the bench for an initial assessment. We look at the case, crown, crystal, and movement through the caseback where possible. We note anything that seems unusual — a stripped crown tube, a fogged crystal, a movement that spins too freely or not at all — and we write it down.

That written note becomes the basis for the quote. If we open the movement and find something that changes the picture — a broken wheel, a damaged jewel, a corroded contact — we stop, photograph it, and send it to you before proceeding. Nothing additional is charged without your agreement.

Every service concludes with a timing check on the machine, a final inspection of case and crown seals where applicable, and the condition note updated to reflect the completed work. The note accompanies the watch when it is collected or posted back.

Mechanical movement on watchmaker's bench

Service 01

Mechanical Movement Service

A full bench service for hand-wound and self-winding movements. We disassemble the calibre completely, clean every component in an ultrasonic bath with watchmaking-grade solution, lubricate with oils appropriate to the movement's age and tolerances, and reassemble. Timekeeping is then measured across positions on a Swiss-standard timing machine.

Suited to watches that haven't been opened in five or more years, pieces that have started keeping inconsistent time, or movements that have been exposed to moisture or heavy dust. Includes a written condition note and a coverage period on parts and labour.

What's included

  • Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
  • Lubrication with era-appropriate oils throughout
  • Reassembly and multi-position timing check
  • Crown and seal inspection
  • Written condition note and coverage period

Service 02

Crystal & Case Refinishing

Polishing or replacement of the crystal and gentle refinishing of the case and bracelet surfaces to reduce the appearance of wear. We identify the original finish of each surface — brushed flanks, polished bezel, satin lugs — and work to match it as closely as possible rather than applying a blanket polish that removes those distinctions.

This is a measured, conservative service. The aim is to reduce visible marks without changing the character of the piece. Watches that retain patina appropriate to their age are not over-polished back to a showroom appearance.

What's included

  • Crystal assessment — polish or replacement recommendation
  • Case and bracelet surface refinishing
  • Finish matching to original spec where possible
  • Crown tube inspection and replacement if worn
  • Before and after photographs

Starting from

฿7,500

Crystal replacement quoted if needed

Service 03

Vintage Restoration Program

A staged restoration for older and sentimental watches, carried out over several sessions with the owner's sign-off at each step. The program covers movement work, dial assessment, and sourcing of period-appropriate parts where available.

This is the right choice for inherited pieces, watches found at auction, or pieces that have been out of service for many years. Progress notes are provided throughout so you can follow the work as it unfolds rather than simply waiting for a call when it's done.

What's included

  • Full movement service (as per Service 01)
  • Dial assessment and cleaning
  • Period-appropriate parts sourcing
  • Owner approval before each stage proceeds
  • Photographic record at each stage
  • Comprehensive written documentation on completion

Standards

Shared across all three services

Secure in-house storage

All watches in service are stored in a locked, humidity-controlled area. We do not subcontract to outside parties.

Timing machine testing

All completed mechanical work is verified on a timing machine before the watch is cased and returned.

Written condition notes

Every watch leaves with a document stating what was found, what was done, and the terms of coverage.

No work without consent

Unexpected findings are shared before any additional work or charge. You can decline at any point.

Correct lubricants

Oils and greases are selected by calibre type, position, and age — not applied as a uniform solution.

Coverage period

All service work carries a coverage period on labour. Terms are stated in the condition note on collection.
